Disconnect the battery for a few mins , and then reconnect . Then re-set the time as per
the buttons and knobs . Mine has gone acouple of times , for no reason whatsoever

If you also earth the disconnected positive cable (not the positive battery post!) for a second or two it can cure lots of misguided behavior . The radio problem is common. Cooper S/Ts, Dynamic 17x7s, Rotronics 3 way battery control, Boab drawers, Polaris camera, Mitch Bros tow, 4x4Intell wheel carrier and cargo barrier, Obie's rear wndow protector, Windcheetah roofrack, Featherlite rooftop tent, Faultmate, Trakmaster Nullabor 17. VK3PR VHF UHF.

Hi Wayne,
I had this a couple of times - when I had the standard radio in use. Make sure the D3 goes to sleep before disconnecting the battery. Ie. wait until the parking brake dash light extinguishes - then disconnect the battery terminal leads and short them together for a few seconds.
I usually had this after a car wash. I wonder if the heavy Darwin rain is about the same as a pressure washer?
Cheers,
Rob

That assumes that the park-brake is used ....... now there's another fault just waiting for you ......
I don't touch it with a bargepole
