Radio and Nav reset ? Following flat battery. |
|
Hi
Recent V8 Disco3 purchase and have had it Layed up for a week while I catch up on all its fluid changes.
Battery gone flat, charged it and car running fine. I expected memory seat positions to be lost etc.
Radio not so. It switches on off but nothing much else. Won't eject cd's, won't tune up or down, Sat nav has problem now also, shows map and recent destinations but doesn't allow a new destination to be input.
I know it relates to the interruption in power,
Can you give some guidance on any required reset procedure
Many thanks for reviewing my post -and helping where you can

Hi Philm
I will look at that in detail when the car is at home. Don't want to try a battery disconnect away from home.
On you tube with a title of 'LR3 hidden radio settings' I found a reset that has got both working.
Will report back when I have established all other items ( memory seats dipping mirrors ) sorted
Thanks again PB

So did you find out what was wrong?
Don't bother, I see that the hard reset and my LR3 has no radio codes (apparently) so shouldn't be a problem. Mine has been sitting for 2 months with no battery, but the previous owner says no problem with that...
