Does the LR RAI significantly impact engine breathing and hence performance. It has been hinted to me that I would notice the difference ? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I wouldn't have thought it was significant enough to notice, but may make a difference if you're on a test track or Dyno (how much I don't know) Bodsys Brake Bible
D4/D3 Remote FBH heat kits
BAS Remaps/ EGR Blank
Transmission Flush
Software updates/enabling

i wouldn't look for a change either.......but was speaking to someone over the weekend who experienced a much sprightlier D3 when he removed its RAI.....but this could of course been to do with a variety of other factors as well.......
so just thought I would ask end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

I aint noticed a difference either, sounds a bit of tosh really. RAI takes up cleaner cooler air which helps a better combustion. Lower standard intake is more vunerable for exhaust soot and dust, and ambiant temp I would guess at least a a couple of degrees higher if tested properly.
Mine still does go like if I wanted.......................................
