I'm watching this group buy with interest...
Not had any chance to spend time on this forum for ages, or indeed do much with our D3 thanks to work commitments, however a proper RAI has been on my wish list for ages.
Need to think on it for a bit before I commit...Cheers,

When I spoke to Mantec about a group buy for the load lugga last year the guy (forget his name) but told him my plan, he said he also owns a forum page like the D3 forum, we discussed the pros and cons of group buys, very nice chap overall, long and short of it think he was offering 10% going up a couple of % more depending how many were ordered, in the end nothing came of it for their reasons and I ended up buying one myself off flatdog (who Mantec recommended) I received some discount from them too, what I am trying to say is do not expect too much from them as they have to make a profit too, but glad they have started to offer group buys now and good luck with the group buy. To be honest I've found Mantec themselves to be really unhelpful. Didn't get my calls returned, won't reply to emails etc. If they don't want to offer any discount then why not say so!
As it stands it looks like it's staying at the £222 price. It's not a great saving but I'll leave this running anyway and if I hear back from Mantec then I'll update it, if I end up buying a RAI myself then I'll ask one of the mods to close the thread down.
