Probably not.
But as they are both bmw based cars, it maybe worth a try

Doesn't work on my wife's Volvo despite them both essentially being manufactured out of the Ford parts-bin.Previously:

I've used mine on a 2011 mini one. Might depend on the year / model . Just plug in and try it no harm there. It'll only read and clear fault codes though. 1996 Defender -died (now in landrover heaven😇)chassis to ashes , rust to dust !
