Rear Brake Pads

Hi.

I need to replace my rear brake pads.

I have bought a Clarke 3000G trolley jack and a pair of axle stands.

I have tried to find out where the jacking points are on the back and also where to place the axle stands.

Can somebody please help!!!

Thanks,

Mel.

Thanks Guys the bible is a great help!!

Can you tell me/show me where I can jack the car? There does not seem to be an awful lot of clearance between the car and the road - its in access mode at the moment. Should it be in normal ride height?

I am at the moment going in from the side of the car with the trolley jack, is that correct or should I go in from the rear of the car?

Thanks,

Mel.

use the same position under the chassis rails as the LR jack would go, in from the side, just in front of the rear wheels. Car should be in off road mode (highest position), before jacking.

Under the chassis rail is a hole that the LR jack would normally go into. That's the usual jacking point.

Just make sure you get the chassis rail and NOT the air tank for the suspension Thumbs Up
