hi, can some one just make sure i have not done nothing wrong, i have fitted my front fog lamps along with the loom and also the switch, when i had the loom of nick@yl i had the one with the front pdc, i have connected the one block connecter but not the other which is the pdc but i seem to have an intermitant fault with my rear parking sensors one minute it beeps then i get the long beep now i have nothing at all just put it in reverse and nothing.
Any ideas?

Because the front PDC isn't connected it will shut the whole PDC system down.

hi q86arr, yes but it wasnt connected before?? the loom has two plugs i have only connected the one block connecter the other is the same as it was before.

any body???
really doing my head in know
finished off the service today, got in it this morning to move it and beleive it or not the bl--dy sensors worked no probs, so stripped all the bumper down cleaned all the sensors and connecters with contact cleaner then bit of vasolene and back together and the bl--dy things just beep once then the continuious beep.
now yesterday when i finshed my fog lamp install the sensors didnt work at all, then like i say got in it this morning and the sensors worked.????????

Could be a dodgy sensor, when the car is in reverse listen to the sensors, they should click when they're working. If one isn't clicking then possible dud sensor or chaffed wiring harness.

i have checked the sensors they all seem to be working, also i have had the bumper off today and the wiring again seems ok, where does it chaff through? many thanks

ok answer this then, constant beeping sound but on putting ear to each sensor and touching each sensor they appear to be working fine. any ideas

Could be a sensor misreading. You will need to datalog the sensor distances to see which one is misreading.
