As above, There is a bit of play in the centre support bush on my rear prop on the D3.
Pics tell the story. How urgent is this to replace? There is perhaps 1/4 inch movement up and down if I push it

Thanks folks.
GKN or Hardy Spicer for the replacement?? I have heard recently that GKN quality isn't what it was but not sure if this is correct?
Why didnt they make things like the UJs replaceable?! Gotta chuck the whole old unit because of poor design!

General concensus is to replace the bolts when fitting a new prop. Have a look on Advanced Factors as rhey do the prop plus the bolts as a kit.2006 TdV6 HSE.

Just back to part of the original question. Is this a do next weekend job or it can wait for now? After Friday i will be back to clocking up the miles in the D2 so this will be on local duties for a month or so with the other half.

It can wait for now.
If you were to pack some Sikaflex in their, propping (sic) it up a bit to get the more 'normal' alignment it'd probably be fine for a year or more.
My old D3 ran for quite a few years and probably over 50,000 miles with a Sikaflex repair with no problems.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

GKN make Hardy Spicer brand unless they have recently sold it off.

Old bolts will be just fine, if you are worried apply some loctite.
I have changed many many vehicle prop shafts and never used new bolts/nuts.
