Rear quarter storage nets in a 7 seater HSE.
Hi guys,
For owners who thought doing the same...i just installed the original cargo area storage net panels in my 7 seater. Not only it's very useful but also looks the part. I was lucky to come across a pair, in Almond colour, from a D4 5 seater (pictured). The nets don't bother in anyway the seats or passenger legs in the third row, even if "full", as some people suggested it was the reason 7 seaters didn't come with them.
Mod easily done and worth doing.

Done!
Cheers.

Me too. can't find any anywhere. I'm just about to try and make a DIY alternative with plywood frame to hold some old nets I have around. Might end up looking distinctly DIY though...D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone

D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny

Hi there,
I have a pair in black from a 2007 D3 . I'd bought them thinking i could just remove the nets but i found out they're kind of plastic riveted in the panel so can't be removed. It's in my holiday home in Portugal and i'll be going there in february. If someone is interested, i can sell them. In this case drop me a PM so i could send pix (in february) and discuss the price...
Cheers.

The original trims were so well put together that i thought they were "melted" to the bigger panel and for an instant i thought it couldn't be done, unless changing the whole rear quarter side panel. But with a very thin flat screw-driver you can, with patience, lift little by little your way, pulling towards you with your nails quite hard. To refit the net trim was easy but it had some small play and it'd come off if pulled slightly...so i just put some silicon around the trim edges and on the small tabs and presto.
Looks as it's always been there!
Cheers.
