Rear seat entertainment panel cover question.

Just behind the cup holders for the rear collapsible seats there is a small rectangular plastic panel that covers, what I think the the spot is, where the RSE controls would be if they were fitted.

Does anyone know if these are removable / pop out and replaceable? Or are they stuck or welded in place? I tried gently prising out but seems pretty firmly in place.

(I'd like to pop these out and fit a permanent USB socket in and then replace.)
