Rear tailgate actuator

Hey Guys
As planned, completed an engine service on my Disco 3 this morning, come to tidy up and couldn't get into the boot........ She eventually opened up, but became speradic in operation.
Once got her opened again, I've stripped out the rear lower tailgate to gain access to lock and actuator..

What im finding is only 2v of power showing when I press the unlock button on the actuator, then when I press unlock a couple of times, zero power is registering.....

Thoughts???

knacked switch or the plugs loose in the actuator as mine was.
Found this out when the boot was closed very carefully with just a small click, normally its banged shut which used to juggle the plug and keep it active.
So after the second time of pulling the boot to bits
First time was broken "L" hook
Second time was unresponsive actuator (found out the plug was loose) i changed the actuator anyway and made sure the plug was firmly in and make sure its clicked in properly.

I'm now very good at getting my boot open from the inside using 2 wood chisels and a 3 inch paint scraper.

Well I've fitted another lock and actuator..... Whilst it's a smidge better, she still doesn't lock unlock 100%..
Have ordered the new switch so will feedback once it arrives.....

Take the switch out and check it (pop a screwdriver in one end and lever it gently)

Mine was still the same after changing the actuator, i purchased a new switch and when i popped the old one out it had been replaced before and the crimp connectors had been crimped with pliers and were loose.

I soldered the new one to prevent problems again
