Rear Window Control Switch

Need to replace a broken rear window control switch. Have seen ones with a headphone jack (I have ones with just the window control) and wondered if these can be installed instead? Also is it a job that need the door trim popped off or will the housing just pop out? 06 S, sticker, colour coded boot handle and sill guards added within 2 hours of getting it!!!
