Rear Wiper Blade....

is the replacement item for this as per the original for my 3 year old vehicle
the original metal framed device ?
or
is there the single blade device like the screen wiper available?
or
is there a place to get one?
 BREXIT - done properly.

I asked Nick (TLO) at Yeovil about this a couple of weeks ago, he said there was no updated rear wiper, and I don't think there is anything planned to replace the type most already have. I must admit my rear wiper has never caused me any issues, except for the arm pivot requiring some lube now and again, but will wear out one day soon i guess.Don't know about any after market ones I'm afraid.

I put a new OEM one from Nick on ours last year improved it a lot.

ICE - its such a stupid design the front and rear wipers can't be lifted up and left off the screen, go to any country that has a "proper" winter and this is how everyone parks so the wipers do not freeze to the screen.

I bought a frameless silicon rear blade from e-bay a while back. no frame and pivots to freeze up.

Yes they are great. I bought "silblades" from expedition exchange in america 2 years ago and they are absolutley silent. They could not supply a frameless rear blade, but I managed to find one on e-bay. Could be that EE now can supply the rear one. No problem with delivery as they ship to the UK a couple of times a week.

My son had some coloured ones on his Cupra R and I thought they were just a gimic. Have you any details. I suspect I will be needing new ones soon.

Just looking at getting the Valeo units from Speeding.co.uk and they now list a replacement for the rear as well. Thumbs Up
