Rear wiper....D3-D4
Is the rear window wiper a lot slower on the D4 ?...I'm not talking about the interval between wipes,I'm talking about the actual time it takes to make a full sweep...its a lot slower than on the D3 "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I have the same perception. It's almost as if it can't be bothered to wipe.
I'm sure that my MY10 D4 and old D3 were quicker. We need to get a comparison done somehow.

And to activiate it is a pain in the butt compared to the earlier ones. I like the quick push. The turning of a little knob is paiful and I have to fiddle with it.

1st thing i noticed - 12MY all are (10 - 11MY not)! - I've checked. Nearly went back for warranty claim - would have looked very stupid.

What I would say is that I think Dave T may be onto something......it did seem to speed up a little as the road speed increased....may be wishful thinking though "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

With my D3 it swished promptly across with a flick back and forth on the stalk.
With my D4 it reluctantly staggers across the back window in no particular hurry, once I have remembered to twist the stalk switch.

something as simple as a wiper switch is altered from a simple logical maybe ergonomic function
to something not as handy & it doesn't work in the same manner
a slow wipe isn't what you need at the back its a quick simple sweep that clears it for rearwards vision
Why was it altered ? - another case of change for changes sake.....or value engineering to make it cheaper...
LAND ROVER TAKE NOTE......Another silly change...the list is getting longer
Listen to your loyal customers...they may have something valuable to contribute
...like getting it right & keeping it rightBREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
