Any reasonable alternative to the standard 19" alloys

New D3 HSE 08 (hopefully) arriving next week.

IMHI the standard 19" alloys are a bit boring. I don't want to go up to 20" but would like something a bit more interesting.

Anyone have any ideas?

If TPM is fitted, can I fit the valve mounted sensors to the replacement alloys? Question

(still not sure if LR will make my the one I ordered with TPM in time for months holiday in 2 weeks time so may take one without instead)

19" RRS alloys fit OK, I've got them on mine (see below, ignore the caravan). Also, latest FFRR 19"'s fit.

Open to ideas - it's Stornoway Grey and Ebony - would really like 20" but Mrs DD wouldn't appreciate the exorbitant cost!

I have seen some 19" RRS Wheels with Wrangler F1 255/50 R19Y
Does anyone know whether this combination would fit a D3?

HI JC100

they will fit but the rolling diameter is small and also the trye load rating is likely to be less than the 111 spec for a D3.

Been there.....along witha few others on here....... Rolling Eyes
end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Thanks Spotter.
Thats a shame. Do you or anyone know the best size and rated tyres for 19" wheels?
Best Regards

Stock 19" size is 255/55 anything different from that will throw your speedo out
Load rating needs to be at least 111, anything lower than that will probably invalidate your insurance & warranty and be more liable to punctures

As stated above, colouring the wheels really changes the whole look of them and the Disco, as I recently had mine done Anthracite and love the result Thumbs Up
