Recommend me a kid friendly campsite please

As above, looking for a kid friendly campsite, must have a bar for SWMBO and me and indoor pool etc for kids (girls 7 & 4).

Tent only and Early/mid August

Any recommendations?

We've been going south to Pentewan Sands in St Austel for a number of years now and love it because of the facilities but fancy somewhere different.

Looked at lake district but most sites seem to be quite basic compared to SWMBO's expectations Embarassed

open to suggestions folks, anywhere in the country really (very vague I know Laughing but that's why i'm asking for ideas) Thumbs Up

Hollands Wood in the New Forest. No pool, no entertainment ( apart from wild ponies), no electric but a great place to cycle and let kids use their imagination and explore. We lose our kids for hours as they wonder off.

Great place to relax.

If you want to glam it up a little sandy Balls (STOP YER LAUGHING) at Fordingbridge is excellent.

Heard good things about Sandy Balls, lots for kids to do, a bit like an upmarket Butlins but vans and tents, I think they even have some cabins there too.

And yes \Comusat, spoken like a man that's never been to the New Forest, there are lots of trees, all manner of animals defacating everywhere but also Beaulieu, riverboat rides, shopping for the ladeeez in Lymington, country walks and a whole lot more.

If you pick the right weekend, there's also the Eurojumble with all sorts of bikes and cars being sold and plenty of Landy bits too.

A great place to unwind.

It does sound good, but you're right, I've never been there.

Closest I've got was Boscombe Down, but I was working so didn't get to see anything of the area.

If you fancy the lake district, try Park foot on ullswater, they have a kids club, kids disco, etc etc & adults bar area, pony trekking etc on site.

Duinrells in Holland is a fantastic site. It has a theme park with free entry if you camp there and theres also an aqua park with some great slides.
Camping site is huge with good sized individually hedged pitches and lovely clean facilities. Trust me SWMBO will not camp anywhere that isn't up to standard.
Theres a bar and a couple of restaurants too.

Went there last easter and it was fanatactic.
