Recommendations - northern France for a couple of nights

Hi there,
Heading to France (just north of Royan on west coast) tomorrow for a couple of weeks, eighth year in a row in same place!

We usually take a couple of days stop on way back to Ferry at Cherbourg, last year was Paris, before that St Malo, Bayeaux, Mt St Michel a few times.

Looking for a nice coastal town up that way, don't want to head too far over towards Le Harve (eventhough I believe Deauville and a few other towns are nice).

Anything west of Cherbourg pennisula would be great. Tempted to go back to St Malo

Cheers in advance

Erquy is very pleasant:-

Rather more out of your way, but both worth visiting are Perros-Guirec & the peninsula of Quiberon :-

Saint Nazaire is a good place to visit but i think its a little too far south for you. We spent a night there a couple of years ago on our way back to St Malo. I enjoyed the old U-boat pens and it also has a nice beach. Great for a couple of days stay Thumbs Up

They just make the best of everything they have.
