Reduced Performance - Orange Triangle

Got the dreaded 'Reduced Performance' message today and it will not clear despite numerous restarts and leaving the car for extended periods. Unlike most of you though, i am getting the orange warning triangle, not the red and the performance reduction is not really noticeable. Noticed a flat spot in the performance the last couple of days when starting from rest - is there a connection maybe?, any ideas welcome before i visit the dealers on Monday Evil or Very Mad

Most likely to be sceondary turbo turbine shut off solenoid. Covered under assurance program (VIN dependent)

Thanks, will mention that on Monday. Anyone now if the assurance program has started yet?. If it has, might try to get the whole lot done whilst it's there.

LRA coming out in a while, so hpefully their diagnostics will tell more.

Edited - LRA have sent the AA and funny old thing, don't have the right software to talk to the D4 Evil or Very Mad

Will the car be ok to drive 20 miles to the dealer?

Yep, solenoid valve in the Turbo, off to the stealers tommorrow then, and so it begins, the regular treks to a dealer to get faults sorted - why do we love these cars so much?? Confused

Had it confirmed by the dealer that it is the soleniod valve in the turbo. Can't get it replaced though until the 22nd of this month. Good news is it will get the Quality Assurance stuff done at the same time.
2 questions though
1. Will driving the car until it is repaired cause any lasting damage?
2. Is there anything else i should ask to be done at the same time?
