You’re right, I think the “boots” photo wasn’t yesterday and looking at them again, I don’t see really problem with them being fake croc. Plain would have been preferable I suppose, but they’re black and IMO smart enough.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Slightly off topic but the final scene of the last episode of Blackadder goes forth, is a true tribute to those who fell. It is one of the most poignant pieces of TV I have ever seen

At least she didn’t turn up in leopard print. Corbyn and Mays dress sense is non existent, but that’s by the by, you’d hope they knew how to run GB(UK)ltd. but they don’t do that either.

One could say the same of any knee length black boot. If you didn’t know what Jack Boots looked like. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Trump apparently didn't even bother turning up in France, because it was raining.....
Another one with a lot of news being exaggerated, but if it's true, it is a disgrace.
I recently went to see Bill Bailey when he was touring, and he called Trump the 'Angry Apricot'. Seems quite apt. King of the typo.

Shouldn’t be about what you wear. I’d rather someone genuinely wishing to pay their inner respect turn up in a ‘trakkie’ than a ‘supporter of terrorism’ turning up in a bespoke suit....

I know it shouldn't be about what you wear, but I think dressing appropriately in this case and in his position is a representation of the way you think. If you can't be bothered to put on at least a black tie what else does that say about the man.

I agree, but not if your Leader of HMMLO, then you should make the effort to dress appropriately. This isn’t about personal beliefs, politics, politicians or the rights and wrongs of war, it’s about remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
If Corbyn didn’t want to attend, he shouldn’t have, but he chose to and should have dressed accordingly.
All IMO of course.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

What is the standard dresscode ? ...did Cameron wear a black tie ? Would those who made the ultimate sacrifice be admiring the hollywood outfits, hats and hairstyles of May and the female royal family members as a mark of respect? I doubt it.
I didn't ridicule my fellow RBL members attending our local ceremony for what they wore ...which included anoraks and coats of all descriptions...perhaps I should write to them with your advice on Haute couture
