rememberance day service
Rant on
I watched the service from the cenetaph yesterday morning and we had a collection of leaders etc laying the wreaths, including the chap who had just got off the number 13 bus!.
Yes that person who wants to be our countries leader who couldnt find a black overcoat or black tie to wear and the tiniest of poppies. Corbyn you're a disgrace!
And I'm not overly political.
Rant off

I read that Foot was taken aback by the criticism of his jacket - it was, apparently, quite an expensive overcoat, which the Queen Mother admired.

Some things transcend Politics..
I Agree.. Totally and utterly disrespectful IMHO!
Surrounded by service men who were showing great pride and dignity... What was Corbyn going to do if it rained.. put his hood up.. !! And what is that smallest poppy in the world all about???
It reminded me of Michael Foot ... In fact I don't remember much else about Mr foot!!

The bright red tie & scruffy hooded anorak are highly disrespectful and inappropriate.
They appear to be a signal by Corbyn to the Left wing of his party that he doesn't want to pay respects to the fallen.
How much lower can he sink.

So it's OK for Chief wimp Cameron to wear a blue tie ...Norma Major a bright red scarf.... or May to lay a wreath with her 'gestapo'esque leather boots on ...or her designer hat and giant pearl necklace.

I think if you dislike a person, it’s easy to find fault with them and I am not a Corbyn fan before we go down that road.

Norma was just mirroring Cherie and you’ve always said the others aren’t fit for government so I guess you’ve proved the case Personally I don’t think it is about how big your poppy is or the colour of your tie. It is an act of remembrance and it is what is going on in your heart and mind that really matter, but Corbyn projected the wrong image as did TM’s boots imo but her gaffe wasn’t as big as his as it seems he couldn’t even dress himself properly as his hood was inside out or maybe it was body armour to protect him from those stood behind him DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Cameron should have worn a black tie and should definitely know better.
I think May’s boots are borderline.
