I recognise some of the components being the same as those used for remote activation of the FBH on the D3. As for the immobilisation of the car you could fit a hidden kill switch wired to the diesel EMS fuse or the PCM fuse!
With either of them dead it's going absolutely nowhere.
It's perhaps worth noting that particular remote kill switch you're looking at has a max operating spec of 15v. The D4 sometimes exceeds this voltage albeit for short periods but might be a consideration.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Thanks I missed the max voltage but its just an example of what I'm thinking about. There are loads out there.
Not sure my skills extend to doing anything with either the EMS or PCM fuse. I just want something that is plug and play.
I might get one and see whats what. They're dirt cheap so not worried.D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

I'll just fit a fire supression system under the bonnet or speak to Clive and add the EMS fuse isolator to his list for his next vist.D4 HSE EU6 (Known as Jeeves)

You could do something similar to the above with a relay and a remote fob, and then as Prof says use it to isolate the EMS or something, Clive will be able to do that as it's pretty straightforward.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Nothing wrong with the idea, much the same as the big red key fitted to competition cars.
Bit bothered about the circuit diagram with the +ve wire going to the battery neg.
Fairly obvious it's wrong, it's just sloppy documentation.A visitor from the dark side, my other vehicle is an is still an EV. Strictly speaking its SWMBO.
