Removable towbar key

Hello, I am trying to remove my towbar, Please could someone tell me how many degrees the key turns to unlock? My lock is very stiff, I don`t think the towbar has been off since fitted, about 12 years!!
Thanks

I think it's 180 degrees, was messing with tow bar on ours yesterday and that was about the movement to move from locked/unlocked.
Had a stuck one on a previous Disco and liberal application of WD-40 and allowing it to soak in was the trick.

Thanks for that. I am applying WD40 very liberally. After so many years it will be a miracle if I can get it off.

Pulling the green knob well out and turning repeatedly as far as it would go seemed to encourage the key to turn a bit more in mine. Remember you can get an assistant to work underneath in the space where the spare wheel sits to tap the locking pin with a drift so pin is moving without the mechanism having to pull it.

After a day of trying to turn the key I gave up! I then managed to take apart the whole fitting (not saying how!). Amazingly the whole towbar came out easily. Then managed to get the lock out and fix it, the plunger was corroded and stuck. All has been put back, should be good for a more years.
Thanks for the advice.
