so was this a cat b or d then, must have had a very heavy n/s impact for the roof line to crush like that, sure just pulling the shell out in a jig is going to be safe

Insurance companies in the last year or two seem to have gone very lax on the categories they award to higher priced damaged cars.
I think it may be to keep the value of the scrap high. .

It was the recovery company that damaged the pillar
The crash was only the front end

The body is fine i am replacing the chassis as the crossmember with the towing eye is bent
The body is coming off to go to the body shop and the chassis will be changed over the weekend
Cambelt and all the oils will be done at the same time

Took me and lee (pictured) about 2 hours to remove it
