Ieuan,
Dig them out Thumbs Up

If you can, try and tie a rope near the ground of the post, get a concrete block or similar, and a long metal bar/scaffold pole, use the pole as a lever and the block to lift against.
If they aren't concreted in this works for me every time

Thumbs Up

To keep it on topic. Drill a hole through the post and put a pole or strong and sturdy wooden/metal wedge through to make it into more of a cross shape.

sling a strap around it and secure other end to your D3/4

Foot down - enjoy extracted post, hopefully not lodged in back window.

Mark, I (probably like many others) didn't see your post. But this forum generally works very well, much due to the moderation. It is unlike a lot of other forums that can become very agrressive. This was perhaps read in the wrong way or on the borderline of what was deemed acceptable. To be honest, is it really such a big deal in the whole scheme of things?

In a site users D3 sale thread you put a post with the line:

Quote:
Last time I mentioned price I got accused of being a repeat offender. Leave it for someone else to tell you.

You are correct there is no foul language but given your history of telling people that there items are overpriced instead of PM'ing them I read the above as tantamount to the same thing ..you are indirectly saying there is a price problem and this undermines the sale. Undermining of sales has been discussed previously and a majority of site users agreed that they did not want people to be permitted to do this in threads and constructive comments or concerns would be done via PM thus allowing the OP to accept or reject the advice and make adjustments as necessary.

You say you were "accused" in relation to previous posts in other thread well those comments were notified to the moderation team by other site users who could clearly see that you were undermining in context of the selling rules. The mod team agreed and acted upon those reports to edit your comments.

Whether you accept my actions or not, that is my interpretation. My interpretation and opinion on sale undermining issues are valid because a\ you have a history b\we have site policies with parameters that the mod team discuss and agree upon.

When you join this site you agree that we are able to moderate in such a way. There is nothing that I do that is not known or agreed with by the rest of the team. If on an occasion I am advised by the team that I have got something wrong or been a bit harsh then I am always happy to hold my hands up.

If you have a particular issue then please write to the site owner username 'Martin'.
