Ssshhhhhhh The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Yeap, remove it!
But also tires!!! Did you lower their pressure? Helps them clean up.
If you bring a compressor, you can lower them to 16lbs and see if you get out.
Have to turn off DSC, put it in sand mode, tranny in 2nd and low gear, move the steering wheel left and right.
Should be able to get out...
Did you get to see my video:
&hd=1
At the end, when I get stuck, I did just what I described. -------------------
2008 LR3
ARB bumper, winch, sealed Snorkle, dual battery, Rover Specialties sliders, whole car custom skid plates, 33" tires, ARB air compressor, CB radio, etc...

It wasn't really stuck, TBH if I'd have remembered to bring my spade, it would have been clear in about 30 seconds of digging out the towbar.
Didn't lower the pressures as I wasn't carrying a decent compressor. Tried several modes before testing Windy on his distance 5m parking technique....
I have to say, it was more for the spectacle of something to do
Tanters, my lad thinks I'm Houdini.....
He loved having a go behind the steering wheel though (even if it wasn't moving). Bodsys Brake Bible
