Definitely a visual joke  Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Besides the fact that I don't get it, I think its not correct to make jokes about this event.
Too many people died there. There are endless moments in history that can be joked with, but not this.
And then I'm not even English, American, Canadian, Scottish or member of any of the nationalities that participated..
