Repairing rear light

I have hairline crack on rear light on 2014 model. I can see there are few water drops on inside glass. Can it be repaired, for example using super glue from outside, smearing it on crack itself? Would it work?

Thank you

A month ago, I'd have said "no" regarding superglue ... but the temporary repair I've done on a plastic bowl for a blender has now been through the dishwasher umpteen times and has not fallen apart yet. It's unlikely your rear lights get to experience the rigours this repair has gone through, so worth a try.

There are clear UV setting adhesives that would do the job, they set using a high powered UV light pen, you can flood into the crack then wipe the excess off the surface. As it is only set with UV light, you can get the excess off then harden the break with the light pen. We use at work to repair clear 3d printed objects and its really good. I will check with a colleague where we buy it from.
