Replacement Tyres
Hi All
Time has come for a new set of tyres. I want to replace them with the same ones that were on from new.
(Pirelli Scorpian Zero's 255/60/R18)
Anyone recommend a website to purchase these at a reasonable price.
Many Thanks In Advance. It's better to burn out than to fade away.

Try Kwikfit, I think they're doing a deal just now on Pirelli. Have a look at their website and also speak to AJS Tyres (site sponsor).

Dont do it. Put the AT2s on. About £100 a set cheaper, last at least 30% longer, look Cool and great all weather grip. I know i have been doing 120 miles a day on a set through everything nature has thrown at us since Sep last year.

Ditto what Goffie said I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Do the AT2s all have white lettering ? And is there a noise / economy trade off?
Vredestein Wintrac xtreme have also got a good reputation, especially for grip in snow/ice conditions (ideal for bonnie Scotland I would say) and also for wear rate. Although primarily a winter tyre, many people report having them on all year round and that they are a good summer tyre too.
I'm going to have a set fitted at 2pm today.
Try AJS 4X4Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills

And is there a noise / economy trade off? Marginal, stero up one notch and increased tyre life more than make up for it!

I did consider all the fores and against and got fantastic advise from this site. As i said i do 120 miles a day on fast B roads in all the weather god can throw at me. If there is slight more road noise it is out weighed by the fact i know the D3 will get me through any thing because i have these tyres on. I will not hesitate in replacing them with the same next time around.

4 Pirellis or Goodyears at £150 a corner all in at Kwikfit at the moment. They even managed to jack the car up properly (one of the local branches had done about £3k of damage witha jack so they all know what to do now....).
