Replacing rear tailgate glass
Anyone done it as a DIY job? Is it bonded in or can it be bolted/unbolted from the inside please?2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

No drama, just that the privacy film on the back is damaged and needs replacing, whilst planning this I spotted a new glass with factory privacy tint on eBay and if it was a DIY job I would have bought that instead.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I know how to get it changed for £50.
Travel down to Nottingham, stay in one of the local Premier Inns ie Daybrook.
Some lowlife scumm will cave it in within 15 min of arriving - yep, even in broad daylight.
You then call Autoglass and they fit a new one for only a £50 insurance excess.
Got mine done that way!
I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
