How to report an eBay Scam

Seeing as eBay don't exactly make this easy to do Rolling Eyes I thought it was worth putting up a note on how to do this.

On the item page for the fraudulent listing, scroll to the bottom and click the "Report this item" link:



On the page that appears, select "Fraudulent listings (....)":



Select "You suspect a listing is fraudulent (you didn't bid)":



Click the "Continue" button as instructed:



On the next page, click the oh-so-obvious "Email us" link to actually report the item:



Type something in the bottom box:



Click the "Send" button



You may now feel a warm glow inside until you realise eBay will probably just ignore your report Evil or Very Mad 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

E-bay

I had my disco in the e-bay but i was getting one person from down south trying to buy my car he was phoning every day and then i think his wife was also trying to buy with another account on the e bay i felt like they were very eager to buy and trying to pressure mr into taking a lower price !! Razz which was well under my asking price then he told me that he thought we had made the deal on the phone so i refused to sell Rolling Eyes thx Lee

I've completely given up reporting things on ebay, it's a waste of time, they never do anything even when it's blatently obvious even to my dog! Shocked Rolling Eyes You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

Yes I hate these eBay scams when buying and selling either very cheap cars that need to be paid for and then delivered from the outer Hebrides or people wanting to buy your car and you to pay for deliver cost before they pay for the car. Had a new one though random people emailing me saying they have cars for sale that I have been looking and sending me pics and details to open on my phone. Needless to say deleted and defiantly didn’t open they were all strange names with gmail accounts so beware of these
