1. Turn ignition on
2. Open Bonnet.
3. Open drivers door.
4. Press brake and accelerator pedals for 60 seconds.
5. Turn ignition off.
6. Turn ignition on ( check service indicator is extinguished ).
7. Repeat procedure if failed.

Apologies for butting in
mines 3 days counting down to the service light coming on
Hunters did it last year for the previous owner,so due by reset about now
it had a good service this July before I bought it , bills to prove, but they didnt do the reset, LR indie aswell I
Does the above method just turn it off or reset for a 365 day countdown
it wont be having a garage srrvice till net May, I will be doing fluids at chrimbo
my D3 is a 2009 HSE
any help to turn it off when it comes on would be great

Last couple of sevices where done at an Indy didn't reset .so this morning a little package from BBS arrived my can mate let's you reset different times for you're next service and does it within seconds top product .

Sat last night at the train station waiting for the eldest coming home from uni, thought I would have a go at doing the reset
watched the U tube version a few times and manged to do it first go from memory
so it definitely works on the 09 model year
happy days set for 274 days from last night
