From the manual...
This DTC is set if the
Particulate filter outlet temperature sensor signal
voltage is greater than the Engine Control Module (ECM)
was expecting. Refer to the workshop manual and
check the particulate filter and sensor for obvious signs
of damage. Check the sensor harness for chaffing or
heat damage. Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams
and check the particulate filter outlet temperature
sensor signal circuit for open circuit, short to ground,
short to other circuits. Check the sensor ground circuit
for open circuit, short to power, high resistance. Repair
wiring as required
If there are no wiring faults suspect the particulate filter
outlet temperature sensor. Refer to the new
module/component installation note at the top of the
DTC Index. Gone 2016 Landmark D4

I love all the “it’s the manifold” comments when it wasn’t the manifold. There are other reasons for restricted performance as has been shown. Even the water in fuel give a restricted performance error but only a yellow triangle not red.
For any restricted performance error, reading the codes is crucial.

Absolutely - mine was a faulty 'O' ring seal - cost 3/5ths of FA to fix Now Golf GTI PP, 7 speed DSG.
