Hello,
This morning I had the red warning triangle come up. GAP tool gave me P010D-00 MAF circuit B high. Code has cleared and not reappeared (yet!). The warning is still present however. Had a check around and cleaned the MAF but to no avail. Also read the live values for mass air flow and circuit A (rearmost MAF sensor) is responsive and plausible but circuit B is fixed at 213 g/s, which is consistent with P010D. Intake air temperature is also plausible and responsive. The car is driveable but slow.
I have a couple of questions somebody might be able to answer:
Is it likely to cause any further problems by driving the vehicle in restricted performance mode?
Has anyone got any comments regarding the Siemens VDO MAF sensor? I can get one of those on Monday at a bit of price premium but need the vehicle back to full working order quickly.

Thank you for your rapid response.
ECP is where I was looking, as much as it pains me, particularly as they are more expensive than elsewhere but I do need the car back in a hurry.
I spent many years working as a diagnostic engineer for a major vehicle manufacturer, mostly on powertrain systems, and I cannot think of any reason why driving in restricted mode would be an issue for vehicle. It's just that it's very slow off the mark but you never know, which is why I though I'd ask the massed knowledge on here.

Continental/Siemens VDO MAF fitted and all is well again. Car seems more responsive, less lag. Wondering if the failed MAF had been suffering an in-range failure for some time before finally calling it a day, particularly as the DTC was not always present. Plus I've managed to force a DPF regen OK. Inferred soot load was over 30%, now less that 5%.
