Restricted Performance Triangle

I have an intermittent warning triangle appear but can’t figure out what’s causing it. Any suggestions as to how I might diagnose the cause before I take it to the garage? It seems to occur sometimes but not every time when I drive over speed humps at normal speed but otherwise it will come on unexpectedly without having driven the car at all. Turn the engine off turn back on again and it clears.

sorry to ask the obvious ,however its not low washer level warning by any chance as that can be intermittent and affected by bumps. you havent actually stated its going into restricted performance which would rule that out.
