Retrofit TV

I'm considering retrofitting the OEM TV to my D3, ignoring the cost and software side of things has anyone worked what's required in the way of antenna amplifiers, cabling and other hardware? Confused

I had looked at this as far as soldering the cables to the ant. At this point I gave up as I'm not that tech proficient.

But would love to see some facts and figures from your plan and a How to.

Would be a lot cheaper to get one of these + the mag mount aerial shown

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freecom-Digital-DV...B000ALAWQ6

and buy one of those cheap dell laptop's in NoDo$h's thread.

Is also transportable to any other vehicle/caravan/tent etc Thumbs Up

Rolling Eyes I just want to know what kits needed first then I can work out if it's worth it or not. I can have a dig around as soon as I've got time and work it out for myself, was just hoping someone had done it already Confused The End
