Some may remember me
Not posted for a couple of years but always popped back on every now and then for a browse.
We sold our D3 ,our 6 th Disco ,as we stopped towing a tin tent and bought a smaller run about whilst we found our next Landrover,took longer than expected.
We may be looking at late model D4 s
Looking at a 65 plate tomorrow ,I can feel the butterflies already .
The D3 was on the whole great with only a couple of minor niggles in 5 years of owning it.
If we get one I’ll pop some piccies up soon

I was sorely tempted a few weeks ago , sold our 65 reg SE Tech 4 yrs ago after worryingly too much about crankshaft failures.
It had done 23000 mls and was in excellent condition , always regretted selling particularly last year when we had to live in b & b for 6 months and could have used the space in the D4 .
I was trolling the adverts on Autotrader 3 weeks ago and found our old D4 for sale down south , 1 owner since us and had 48000 on clock , described as excellent condition ( looked it from pics ) .
Said to wife shall we ? , no she said .
Still running round in Kuga PHEV .

We could set up our own insurance fund - everyone who wants to take part puts in an amount per year, then if a contributor has a crank failure, the fund pays out a sum to help out
