Returning to a D3

Have returned to the forum after some years this time with a much older and basic D3 manual on factory springs. Not sure if it is a good move for a dog fishing shooting car with a few lanes.

It’ll be fine. Springs can get almost anywhere air can, just with a bit more wheel in the air drama doing it sometimes. Manual is fine too and saves money at the pumps. As with any heavy turbodiesel get the clutch fully up before you boot the throttle, and use first to pull away - it’s slipping the clutch while on boost that kills them.

Sarumlight having owned a XS and HSE before, from the dreaded hand brake to EGRs compressors and air tanks and so on I moved on to German cars and kept an old D2, will be interesting not having terrain response, but not so much to go wrong, I hope.
