| Reunited, not wrecked anymore! |

I have today been reunited with my Discovery 4, four weeks after it's unfortunate accident. So far so good and everything seems fine on it, have driven 100km in it today to make sure and there have been no warnings coming up. Next task is to try and get the Navigation updated for once and for all before a forthcoming long trip........ 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

There are no navigation updates yet ( for western Europe anyway ) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Mine's still on it's original May 2009 install.......didn't you say there had been one for 2010/11? And the maps on the 2012MY are more up to date than mine....

TLO said something about it, my apologies. But I know mine hasn't been updated since the day it was delivered as a brand new D4 in November 2009......will get the version number for you ASAP but I know it says something like 200905..... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Haven't tried doing that, how would it know if there was one if it wasn't connected to some sort of network connection? 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

No worries, good it's back into rude health. Hopefully your insurance co sorts out all the hassle, having been hit by a dozy moo that didnt see mr last feb it can be a right pain.

Other party admitted full blame at the scene, so his insurance sorted everything out. Took 4 weeks in the end but there were delays in getting some of the parts and even now there is one part on back order - the tread plate for the rear bumper. Old one doesn't look too bad so am not overly worried but it will come in time!
But there was a lot of new parts! Lights all round, bumpers, bonnet, front driver's side wing, new nearside rear door, etc, etc, etc,! Well over €10,000 worth I guess inc labour...... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Mine tells me there is an update available for Russia and Turkey ... So I presume it's some thing that gets put on there while at the dealers (service time .. etc ) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

A little bird (who certainly seems to know what he is talking about!) has informed me that the current maps for download are 2011/2012 issue.... 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial
