| Reverse camera activation delay |

Out of interest, Is it just mine, or do all D4's have a short delay once you've selected reverse before the camera actually comes on. I know it only takes a few seconds and because of this I normally always wait , but I did a controlled test today out of interest, and I'd reversed out from standstill two full car lengths before the picture came on. I guess it could be argued there could be a potential for an accident if its a common feature. On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Yes it is common and the MY2012 is worse than the MY2011  Cheers Ian

mine takes a few seconds.. but its an AID not something to be relied on - if its not on then either wait until it comes on or reverse using some good old fashioned common sense and awareness of surroundings Duncan
