I am thinking of taking out the FF system and fit a new one. I have a half decent Pioneer stereo, but as I have the amp etc I cant just swap the head unit.
So my plan is to remove the head unit and fit the Pioneer, remove the Sat Nav display and fit a Samsung tablet, remove the FF amp and fit a new one. I would keep the speakers as they seem OK.
I would imagine that if I run speaker wires down to the amp under the seat and fit a new amp, head unit etc, then it should all be good?
I have tried a BT unit attached the AUX, but its poor.
I have searched, before I get abuse, but there are so many posts that its hard to find the pertinent information. So if anyone can point me at a decent thread or just offer some advice, that would be great.

I don't think you can do that as it's not just the hifi that uses the connections. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

What else does though? I know some people have dismantled the head unit to keep Sat Nav etc, but I am not bothered about that as I would prefer to use Google Maps, otherwise Google wont be able to track where I am. Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

But with much smaller cables!
I'm not guaranteeing that will work!
but at that price it is worth buying. (not suitable for HSE with logic 7)
It runs between the amplifier connector and headunit I believe (using the amp in the headunit)
