river frolic

this is a new car (no reg plate and temp plate in window so they are waiting for the real reg plates to be issued) keeping in mind the D4 costs 100K pounds here

would you do this within the first month of ownership ???

rivers where this is filmed have a giant pebble base so not mud too worry about but the "pebbles" are about the size of a football.
It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.

Maybe driving round and round for 10 minutes is a bit excessive but the car is designed to handle that sort of stuff so I can't see a problem.

I bet they didnt walk that route first Very Happy

Thing that would worry be is the water coming over the bonnet a few times could allow some to get sucked in but I guess the air filter would be sufficient to stop a small amount.

And the fact it looks like the dsc and tr options are off allowing then to keep moving as I bet if they stopped for a few seconds that would have been it with any river and silt.
