Road maps Spain and Portugal.

I am taking the caravan and SWMBO to Spain and Portugal later this year. I have been unable to find anything better than 16 miles to inch in road maps. Can anyone advise a worth while source? Thanks.

you can get michelin maps in most big supermarkets and big service stations in spain - 1cm = 2km

however, there are masses of new roads being built, certainly central to eastern spain so a lot of maps are out of date. Duncan

The AA do a spiral atlas of Spain and Portugal at 1:400,000 - about 6.5 inches to the mile. SORRY 6.5 miles to the inch Rolling with laughter LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

Thanks Ted. That is one hell of a scale. Do you mean 6.5 miles to the inch? If you are correct I will need another trailer just for the maps. I will have a look over the week end.
