Roof bars
Just received my roof bars for the D4, bars are not LR but copies. Very pleased with them they look good on the car as I managed to get black ones to match the rails.
Problem is though....what fitting kit do I need to fit the roof box. I've done a quick search on the forum, and looked around EBay, but can't find anything related to this problem. Apart from going to the dealers I can't think of any other way....any suggestions?

Think you will need the cross bars to go across both rails and mount your box on the bars
Have a search on E bay there are loads !

Cheers Sharky, but it's the roof bars that I've just purchased to fit to the roof rails (with alpine extensions) I've found some BMW bits from an old roof rack system we had for my wife's 5 series, so maybe these will fit mine? Will try tomorrow.
The fitting will either be a T-bar where you have to remove the rubber strip from the cross bar or a u-bolt fitting which goes under the barD4 2010 HSE Santorini Black

Simon, it's from BMW, but has worked on my previous Landies (range rover my 03 & defender 110 my10) but the roof box was secured using the u-bolt fixing, although it was originally fixed to the BMW using the T-bar fitting. I have tried to run the T-bar fitting bolts from the BMW into the cross bars for the D4, but there are 2 pieces of plastic that stand proud inside the bars making it impossible to slide the bolts in. Thinking I could cut them off with a hot knife.
