Does anyone have some opinions on the different racks that are available ?
The Expo / G4 version has a flush fit and obviously looks the part - but it is probably safe to assume that it will only fit a D3. So won't help me if there's a change in a few years. And it ain't cheap...
I've taken a quick look at Hannibal and Rhino. The former being expensive; the latter seems to be a bit modular with the different feet fittings.
Opinions ?The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Front Runner gets my vote, should be able to make it fit a fair few vehicles just by changing the legsThe End

Wot he says ^^^^^ FR racks have proven to be the best available for any vehicle - a change in mountings is all that is needed to make 'em fit just about anything
Do FR have rail to suit as Rhino do, or do you need the O/E rails - got neither at present.

Ok, plan was to get some LR rails before xmas and a rack in the spring, (SWMBO is on my case) but since this thread is running, is there any close up pics on here of said FR rack short or long, also interested in the rail fitting.
The FR site has 3 price which when converted directly to sterling look quiet reasonable, what the going UK rate (PM me if you don't want to post it up.
I take it the 2 rack lengths as below
FRDISCO4002 2.2M Flat Rack Windcheetah Slimline
FRDISCO4009 1.6M Short Roof Rack Windcheetah Slimline
both come with the rails so I do not need the load bar kit - or do I ?

The frontrunner racks come supplied with heavy duty aluminum tracks as the standard tracks have been known to break when the roof rack is heavily loaded.
