Six lights look a bit much, but that may be the look you are after as well as additional light power. I think pic 2 with four lights looks good. Maybe just space them out a little more with the inside ones about an inch or two closer to the middle.

I think 6 lights is a Bit OTT. I thought initially to go with 6 IPFs on the roof but the curvature of the roof made them look stupid. Be careful of the size you go for as you will find that you may not be able to mount them very well.

also with 6 lights you will have a lot more wires or thicker wire which makes it more difficult to route. especially if you want to put 110w bulbs in each.

I opted for 4 on the roof and 4 under the A-Bar

The IPFs i tried were probably bigger, but they just didnt seem right. If you can get them to look like they are in the photoshop of CTs car then they look alright.

I used PIA 55w/110w bulbs which draw 55w of power but deliver 110w of light. not cheap though at around £40 a pair.

just a word of warning if you change your mind and think about buying the Bosch ligths like I have... Dont !!, they let water in at the back where the bulb enters the lens. they then fill with water during heavy rain and the lenses tarnish. Ive had 3 replaced under guarentee.

Check that the Hella lights have a good waterproof connection and ensure the wiring goes UP into the light casing.

It will look 8) when complete and you will be visible from space Thumbs Up

I think that 2 lights mounted either side of the rack looks best.

Is that a warn powerplant on the front of the defender? Are they any good? Thought about one for mine with the air tank mounted somewhere.

Pic 2 or pic 3 - with preference on pic 2.

Are you doing this yourself or getting someone to do the work for you ? If the latter, I'd be interested in knowing who is supplying the parts and doing the mounting. Thumbs Up
