Anybody have any experience with the rack available from Paddock Spares. Normal flat style rack but the slats go length ways instead of width ways.

Paddock always to be good quality, ive had other bits off them in the past for FL1, FL2 and D2 and never had any problems.
I would think with length ways bars it might make it awkward to fix things like roof boxes etc to that are intended to fixed to cross bars

I fit my roof box on my Frontrunner rack fine, but the slats go across on that, it'd depend on the spacing of the slats to match up with the existing holes.

Bit late with an answer for this one, but there is a wind deflector for the FR rack.

Never had a roofbox Very Happy have used a rooftent, but just used ordinary Thule roofbars for that. Fitting a roofbox or rooftent to a roofrack seems a bit pointless, in my opinion anyway.
