Hi all
I spoke to a guy today going to fit 20" Range Rover wheels to D3 with same tyres as stormer alloy 275x45x20 110.I thought these wheels will not fit D3,but his supplier said they are fine.
They are 8,50x20 as opposed to stormers 9,5x20.Does this matter,is he getting bad advice(without going into load issues again)

The RR from MY06 on use the same type wheels as the D3/RRS. As for load rating, well, I think it's been discussed in depth before  IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Fair enough I will have to eat humble pie on this one,but why have the alloys 8,50x20 on RR wheel and 9,5x20 on stormer,is this off set or has this no bearing on wheel or application.

the 8.5 inch rim is used on the FFRR, and usually comes with a 255/50x20 tyre, and as said already, if its off the post 2006 model will fit the D3. The wheel you mention looks like a stormer pattern, but without the center ridges in the spokes.

Thank's for that.I guess the RR wheel will take a 275 tyre.The supercharger alloy(stormer without the centre ridges)does look well, I did not see it on D3 yet,might post some pics when wheels are fitted.
