RR hack for touchscreen - missing icons
Hi
I read the whole thread about cutting the 4th wire to fool the touchscreen system into thinking it's a RR, but I get the same results as some others, where the icons are missing
i.e.
instead of this:
I see this:
the thread talks about doing a software/firmware update on the nav unit - but when I run ECU info on the car with my IIDtool BT, I dont see any update available (there is for body control and some other items, but not nav or instrument panel)
Can I easily fix the missing icons? or should I just go back to the D3 mode?

I am not IID tool expert - you asked what to do to get the TR icons
If you cant use IID toll to upgrade the screen use SDD as i did to get them ON on my screen
