Why ?

Stick to Correct size(s)

Correct Load Rating

and you will be fine

Mess around with underrated tyres may however be a different issue

On ANY other car, have you had to tell the insurance company that yoiu're had a tyre replaced (perhaps even with a different brand Shocked Shocked Rolling Eyes )

No different here, it's just the tyre you may change to has a different tread pattern Rolling Eyes

I know the mud terrains have less grip, when on the road, say when braking or cornering, and if anything happened It could be an excuse for the insurers not to pay out as the tread pattern is not road biased as supplied from the manufactuers Exclamation

They're std LR spec as They use them on the G4 Disco's, so no problem there.

ONLY if the tyre is not up to specification (as Ken says) Speed, Load, rating.
Keep within those and you're fine.

Well after a working week with the MTR's I can report that they're fanbloodytastic.
Thought the noise might get to me, but no!
It's now become part of the experience [the STT's would've been off by now].
Also the confidence in fast A road bends was overwhelming [compared to the STT's].
Never quite made it to Scotland, but in the run from Northumberland I managed 31.2mpg - but then it was all downhill!!
Love these tyres!
So, my Stormers will be going back on [after Tong] until winter, then I'll run with the MTR's until spring.
The BFG's will be up for grabs even without a trial I'm affraid.
Thumbs Up
