Half of those numpties could have easily been wiped out buy the several rope snaps, including the firemen!

Could they not get to the the tow point?

Bit of polish and a week in the airing cupboard and it'll be all fine though Thumbs Up Iggy/Ieuan

If we are assuming that the engine had hydraulic-ed then it was possibly a technical write off already but the recovery operator has succeeded in finishing it off. Very poor show on their part. Love to see the on site risk assessment he carried out before starting to winch. Paul Redding
